Sutton Center Wildlife

Here on the grounds at the Center, we have other wildlife besides birds.

Sometimes we have seen as many as three red foxes at once.
17-year cicada 17-year cicada
The local brood of the 17-year cicada emerged this year at the Center. These beautiful insects made a racket around our grounds for about three weeks at the end of May and early June. But so long for now--we won't see them again for 17 more years.
Butterfly Tarantula
Zebra Swallowtail soaking up the sun. A nomadic tarantula climbed a sliding glass door.

Besides the wildlife shown above, we also have here at the Center:

Armadillos Bobcats Black Rat Snakes
Copperheads Fox Squirrels Gray Squirrels
Mud dauber wasps Opossums Raccoons

... and many more!
