Sutton e-Zine

Founded in 1983, the George Miksch Sutton Avian Research Center is dedicated to finding cooperative conservation solutions for birds and the natural world through science and education. The scope of our past and present projects includes intensive, conservation-oriented, ecological field research on declining grassland birds, the reintroduction and monitoring of Southern Bald Eagles, captive breeding of endangered species, raptor surveys world wide, and educational outreach to thousands each year. The Sutton Center is a private, non-profit organization located near Bartlesville, Oklahoma and since 1997 has been affiliated with the Oklahoma Biological Survey in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Oklahoma.
