Sutton Center Wins 2007 NatureWorks
Wildlife Stewardship Award

The Sutton Center was honored with the 2007 Wildlife Stewardship Award by Tulsa's NatureWorks organization.  The award included the dedication of a life-size, bronze mule deer sculpture in Tulsa's River Parks, complete with a plaque honoring the Sutton Center's conservation work. The sculpture was dedicated on 3 May 2007, and is located near the intersection of Riverside Drive and Galveston Avenue in Tulsa.

The sculpture dedication took place on a lush, rainy spring day
in Tulsa's River Parks.

The plaque honoring the Sutton Center (see enlarged photo, above) was unveiled by representatives from NatureWorks and the
City of Tulsa.

The Sutton Center was invited have a booth at the 2007 NatureWorks Wildlife Art Show.
The Center's Great Horned Owl, "Timber", posed to form a faux painting that attracted many visitors.
